I’m disappointed with the free plan features after trying them for my VietnamCupid review. The limited access to communication tools hinders my ability to connect with potential matches effectively. Automatic message translations are unavailable, making communicating with Vietnamese women difficult. The free plan’s lack of features and restrictions make it challenging to fully explore and engage with the site’s offerings.
Searching options on VietnamCupid
Another important point to mention in this Vietnamcupid review is how to find good matches using a suggested search engine. This option is activated by pressing the Search button located on the upper green tab. Luckily, there are two options to choose from: basic and advanced!
First, you automatically access a basic search. When using it, you can specify your identity, the type of person you want, preferred age range, location preference (including city and distance), photo availability, recent activity, and desired relationship type.
Extended search is much more detailed and allows specifying appearance details, hobbies, interests, marital status, education, and many other points you may find important.
Registration
I find the VietnamCupid login process quite time-consuming. While it claims to be quick and easy, I had to provide much personal information, including my full name, location, appearance details, lifestyle choices, and cultural values. It felt intrusive and unnecessary.
The requirement to upload a photo of the face and name ID for verification was also a hassle. Waiting 24 to 48 hours for verification seemed excessive, disrupting my ability to engage with the site fully. Although a verified badge may increase credibility, it felt unnecessary.
The pressure to upload a photo showcasing my face with a smile also felt superficial and forced. It seemed like the site prioritized appearance over genuine connections.
Price
Unlike Sakura Date, the pricing of VietnamCupid.com is quite steep and not justified by the benefits provided. The basic plan is highly limited and practically useless for effective online dating. It’s disappointing to discover that I need to upgrade to a Gold or Platinum membership to truly access the features that can help me meet potential matches.
The cost of membership, especially for longer durations, feels excessive. Paying $29.98 per month for the Gold membership or $34.98 per month for the Platinum membership is quite expensive compared to other online dating platforms.
Considering the high price, I expected more value and a wider range of features available to all members. The pricing structure of VietnamCupid leaves me questioning whether the investment is worth it for the limited benefits provided.
The Verdict
Despite many positive VietnamCupid reviews, my experience with the site has been quite disappointing. While the site boasts a large user base and positive growth trends, my interactions have left much to be desired. The quality of user profiles may be high, but that doesn’t make up for the lackluster communication options. Discovering that a fee is required to engage with Vietnamese brides or Indonesia girl for marriage is frustrating, making it feel like a money-making scheme rather than a genuine dating service. And despite the site’s claim of being secure, I have concerns about the privacy of my personal information. Additionally, their assistance could have been more satisfactory while a support team was in place.
