The profiles were verified, and you’re also required to do so. However, the verification by e-mail seems to be murky and not that reliable to me. Therefore, you should be quite vigilant during your time here—many bots would try to contact you. 

• Please, only respond and reach out to profiles with the “Verified” badge
• Don’t share your vulnerable data, intimate images, or income info with the third parties
• Cut the communication if your companion refuses to share contacts/send audio/send videos after a week of chatting.
